Recent silicon metal market price is gradually raised. In most parts of today’s silicon metal 553# prices are flat or slightly higher than the main offer 12,000 Yuan/ ton.
Recent market demand for silicon metal is larger than befpre, so the pressure of production is higher. The increasing of electricity price led to increased costs. Now the production of silicon metal petroleum coke and other raw materials price also rose, and these have led to increased costs, silicon metal price increases.
